Phyllis Martina, RDH, BS, MBA
Phyllis Martina, RDH, BS, MBA is the Senior Professional Education Manager who, along with the fabulous Colgate Professional Education Manager team, works with schools and dental professionals in the U.S.A. and Canada to create programs and initiatives that benefit students, faculty, dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants and patients. She has been with Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since 2011.
She believes education is a lifelong pursuit, whole heartedly agreeing with G.V. Black when he said “The professional person has no right to be other than a continuous student”. She loves to learn about new dental care therapies and creating education programs that engage dental professionals in new ways to treat their patients.
Phyllis has experience as a clinical dental hygienist, an educator teaching dental students non-surgical periodontal therapy, a CE speaker, in product development and in professional marketing and sales.
She is a graduate of the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business with a Master degree in Business Administration and University of Missouri – Kansas City with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She is a member of American Dental Hygiene Association, American Dental Education Association, California Dental Hygiene Association and lifetime member of Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene Honor Society.
She travels for work and for fun with a goal of being on all 7 continents, only 2 more to go.
